NK Retail AB is the largest merchant in the historical Swedish department store “Nordiska Kompaniet”, located at the heart of Stockholm and Gothenburg. NK Retail AB has 330 salespeople working in 32 stores offering a unique distribution platform for national and international brands within the luxury, affordable luxury and premium segments. NK Retail is renowned for the highly curated selection and outstanding customer service, which places exceptional demands for its business partners, too.
NK Retail wanted a Workforce Management System that would enable them to optimize manual scheduling tasks, save time and costs, and increase employee satisfaction with a system that increases flexibility on their end too.
“Quinyx is cutting edge in terms of developing this type of service - everything about the product makes it easier. We needed a service as time efficient as possible, and Quinyx' persistent system development cuts administrative burden." says CEO Susanne Ekendahl Weisten at NK Retail.
“We wanted to find a user-friendly WFM provider that could guide us forward.”, Susanne continues.
As retail is a seasonal business, and costly over- and understaffing issues are often present, NK Retail needed an established partner that could help them in forecasting the optimal schedules. With Quinyx’ forecasting, NK Retail can create schedules that ensure having the right number of staff on the shop floor, at any given time.
Quinyx’ CEO Erik Fjellborg commented on the deal: “NK Retail is gaining a tool that puts their people first. Our cloud-based WFM system is designed to help businesses and their employees to save time, reduce costs while focusing on their core business - in this case, on all customers in the stores. We have seen how happy employees make a more productive business in the long run. We are delighted to partner up with a company like NK Retail that has such a strong focus on their employees.”
Quinyx is looking forward to getting started in implementing the new system into NK Retail stores during fall 2021.
