Quinyx named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Workforce Management Technology
Tierarzt Plus Partner is a network of veterinary practices with around 110 locations across Germany. Its roughly 1,900 employees dedicate themselves to animal health every day. To help them focus fully on their passion, they’re supported by Quinyx’s workforce management software. The goal is to automate scheduling and simplify administrative processes.
Complexity makes way for usability
Until now, the practices used a range of different systems and tested various tools to optimise their processes. In the end, Quinyx came out on top: the solution simplifies both scheduling and time tracking, making a noticeable difference to employees’ working day. The system is also intuitive to use and fully complies with the legal requirements of Germany’s new working time recording legislation.
Another key criterion was the flexibility of the new software. Employees have different contracts and work full-time or part-time, or are employed as apprentices or student assistants. The mix of the workforce varies from practice to practice, and agreements can differ too. The new system needed to reflect this complexity clearly and make it easier to respond quickly to absences and schedule changes.
Simple, fast scheduling with Quinyx
With Quinyx, Tierarzt Plus Partner has found user-friendly software that meets its requirements for simple, fast scheduling. AI-powered demand forecasting helps determine the optimal number of staff, while automated shift assignment fills the schedule with the right employees, taking rules and contracted hours into account. Integrated time tracking makes it easy to set up legal standards and stay compliant with all regulatory requirements. Apprentices’ vocational school periods can also be factored into planning without any hassle.
Employees can view their shifts at any time in the Quinyx app. They can also respond to pulse surveys there, which help the practices and Tierarzt Plus Partner’s head office gauge the sentiment among staff and gather opinions on pressing topics. On top of that, the app enables awards to be given in a playful way, fostering a culture of appreciation across the workforce.
Project Lead Karl Devantier sums it up:
“With Quinyx, we’ve found a system that makes processes in our practices enormously easier. Administrative tasks and scheduling can take up a lot of time – time that’s often not available in a hectic working day. Even so, important processes have to run smoothly to ensure the animals receive good treatment. Our employees, who chose this profession above all because of their love of animals, benefit from a simple app that gives them more time for what really matters – the health of the animals.”
A close partnership for an important network
Tierarzt Plus Partner also benefits from a Quinyx Customer Success Plan. This means they always have a Quinyx expert at their side to provide key usage statistics, derive actions from them, and make the most of every feature. Erik Fjellborg, founder and CEO of Quinyx, adds:
“We’re delighted to support Tierarzt Plus Partner in optimising their workforce management. People working in healthcare, as here in veterinary practices, do hard but all the more important work day after day. We’re proud to support flexibility in these people’s working lives and, ultimately, to play a part in enabling them to care for the health of their animal patients. We’re looking forward to this partnership and a long-term collaboration.”
What the modules in use make possible:
- Scheduling with Quinyx reduces administrative workload and saves a great deal of time.
- Algorithms automate shift assignment, which not only speeds up schedule creation significantly but also optimises it.
- The engagement modules enable employees to give each other awards as a sign of appreciation, as well as run surveys via the Quinyx app.
About Tierarzt Plus Partner
Tierarzt Plus Partner is an active network of small animal practices and clinics across Germany. Our mission: “Together, we work every day to create the best experience for animals and people.”
For us, this means continuously improving working conditions for veterinarians and veterinary nurses. For example, we ensure family-friendly working hours, modern practice equipment, and innovative technologies, and we invest in an in-network training and development academy. These investments strengthen our practice teams and make a lasting improvement to the experience of animals and clients.
Our community is shaped by the diversity within the network. We value one another and take into account the expertise and goals of every employee. To support this, we encourage exchange between practices.
We’re already active in many regions, where we maintain and create veterinary care structures. Since our founding in 2019, Tierarzt Plus Partner has established itself as a supra-regional network for veterinary practices.
Our central team in Berlin supports the local practice teams in practice management, marketing, HR, digitalisation, and finance. Whether at head office or on site in the practices, we’re united by our vision: “Healthy veterinary medicine, lived in partnership.”
