Postnord invests in AI Scheduling for their 18,000 employees.

The Nordic’s largest logistics and postal company brings the future of workforce management to life together with Quinyx.

The Nordic’s largest logistics and postal company, PostNord, have taken their investment in operations and employees to the next level with a new agreement which promises to bring the future of workforce management to life.

PostNord Sweden has signed an agreement with workforce management market leader, Quinyx, and will be using AI-powered scheduling tools to increase efficiency, productivity and boost employee engagement. 

The deal, which is worth at least 5 million USD, will see PostNord invest in AI and automate the scheduling for their 18,000 employees. Running over five years, the deal gives PostNord AI-powered tools for scheduling, staff planning and time reporting from Quinyx. The collaboration is part of a larger change effort for PostNord where they are ramping up their investment in operations and their employees.

Martina Smedman, HR Manager at PostNord Sweden, says: “Scheduling and staffing 18,000 employees requires an incredible amount of administration. In addition to keeping track of collective agreements, there are also personal wishes from employees as well as varying demand and workload to take into account. By using Quinyx, we hope to be able to automate large parts of this work, and also make understaffing and overstaffing visible."

The deal with Quinyx means a framework agreement for the whole of PostNord Sweden, where the Swedish organization gets access to a complete package for automated scheduling, staffing planning, time reporting and communication.
