Indigo Books & Music Inc. Partners with Quinyx to improve their forecasting accuracy and provide a better employee experience to their store associates.

The Canadian-based book and lifestyle retailer has chosen to partner with Quinyx as its new WFM platform.

Boston, July 12, 2022 - The Canadian-based book and lifestyle retailer Indigo Books & Music Inc., has chosen Quinyx as its new Workforce Management (WFM) platform to optimize its forecasting accuracy and focus on a more employee-centric scheduling approach as they continue to expand its operations throughout North America. 

“At Indigo, we are currently modernizing our digital architecture. As a part of this initiative, we’ve conducted a thorough review of the WFM software landscape, in search of the best platform to support not only our company’s strategic initiatives but also to elevate the day-to-day experience of our store associates and customers in our stores. With Quinyx, our retail staff will be equipped with powerful, intuitive tools which will enable them to have more control over their work schedules and unleash their full potential.” says, Lisa Nordin, Vice President of Retail Experience and Operations. 

Indigo will utilize the full scope of Quinyx’s functionalities to service their 4,800 employees who will use the Quinyx mobile app at their 175 separate locations. This new partnership will also allow Indigo to expand its forecasting variables for greater flexibility in meeting seasonal demand.
