London, November 2018 – Quinyx, the market leader in workforce management, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Odeon Cinemas Group, Europe’s largest cinema operator.
The partnership has been announced following a successful trial period in cinemas
across the UK, Germany, Austria, Sweden and Norway, during which Quinyx helped
Odeon reduce staff scheduling admin by 50%, meaning more time could be spent
improving customer service and increasing sales.
Over the coming months Quinyx’s software will also be rolled out across Odeon’s
cinemas in Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Finland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia.
Initially, the cinema chain has opted to use the Quinyx app’s core modules of
Schedule, Time & Attendance, Forecast and Communication & Mobile App.
Jonas Yngfalk, Odeon Cinemas Group Business Developer Officer, commented:
“During the trial, Quinyx’s software allowed us to cut our admin time by half, meaning
that managers are freed up to spend more time delivering the very best experience
for customers. Given the fast-moving nature of our business, it’s essential that we
can communicate changes to our staff as and when they develop throughout the
day, and with Quinyx’s software, it’s now easier than ever to get the right people in
the right place at the right time. But most importantly, it’s been wonderful to give our
employees a better work life balance and empower them with a technology that lets
them pick the schedule that’s right for them.”
Erik Fjellborg, CEO and Founder of Quinyx, added: “We are delighted to partner with
Odeon Cinemas Group and provide them with a workforce management system that
puts their people first. Our system is designed to help businesses and their
employees save time, reduce costs and – crucially – enjoy work, making them more
productive in the long run.”
