Hair salon chain Klier Hair Group adopts Quinyx as its employee-centered workforce management platform

Hamburg, 05.31.2023 Europe's largest and long-standing hairdressing service provider , Klier Hair Group GmbH, is now using the digital workforce management (WFM) platform, Quinyx. The family-owned company—which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year—is rolling out the WFM solution to over 800 branches of the associated salon and store brands, including KLIER, essanelle, SUPER CUT, Styleboxx, HairExpress and COSMO, as well as the online store Klier Hair World, in an effort to further digitize their operations and set a new standard within their industry. The approximately 5,000 employees and managers—including sales, salon and store employees and trainees—will benefit from automated staff scheduling and optimized communication channels.

Optimized Processes and better work-life balance 

Quinyx's WFM app includes automated workforce scheduling, time tracking, analytics and reporting, as well as modules for internal communications and employee engagement.

With the digital platform, the Klier Hair Group wants to significantly streamline the previous processes in duty scheduling and focus even more on the needs of their employees. Workers can access their duty roster at any time via the app, specify their shift availability and preferences, and independently swap shifts with colleagues if, for example, they have important appointments in their private lives. By doing this, the Klier Hair Group not only offers its employees increased transparency, but also a high degree of flexibility and a better work-life balance.

To promote employee engagement, both employees and managers can use the app to hand out awards, like"Super Colleague" or "Problem Solver" to their colleagues as a thank you or to show appreciation for their work.
