Valio is a prominent Finnish dairy and food company founded in 1905. Valio has production facilities in 12 different locations in Finland and subsidiaries in Sweden, Estonia, the United States and China. In total, Valio employs more than 4,000 professionals globally, from dairy workers to engineers and sales specialists.

As a growing company, Valio has a strong focus on digitalization, which in the context of Workforce Management involves revamping related processes and making them more efficient and automated. To support the digitalization objectives, the company started a procurement process for a new Workforce Management solution. 

After a long, careful analysis and intensive negotiations, Quinyx was selected as the future solution, which out of all options offered the best tool for optimizing and improving the daily work of employees, resource planners and frontline staff with the help of AI. The project with Valio started in Fall 2023.
