London, July 2, 2020 - Quinyx, a leader in workforce management solutions, is pleased to announce that Well Pharmacy has chosen them to improve how they schedule their pharmacist cover across their entire estate. Well is one of the largest community pharmacy chains in the UK, employing around 7,000 people across their 750 pharmacies.

The partnership will see Quinyx support Well’s scheduling and communication with their own pharmacists and locums across all pharmacies, and help Well continue to deliver the best service to their local communities.

About Well Pharmacy

Well have been offering pharmacy services for over 70 years to communities across the UK. They’re the third largest pharmacy in the UK, employing nearly 7,000 people and providing over 72 million prescriptions each year across their 750 pharmacies. Their Bestway Medhub subsidiary provides a wholesaling service for independent pharmacies, and their Wardles subsidiary provides non-medicines (eg, medical consumables such as bandages and dressings).

The Well operation is supported by their Healthcare Service Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, sending out around 90 million stock items to our pharmacies each year. This semi-automated warehouse and distribution centre allows them to use a hub-and-spoke model for prescriptions. This means some items are assembled centrally and sent to pharmacies to handout out to patients.
